Poll: Will Sterling stay at Liverpool or move elsewhere?

Published:

Raheem Sterling may not be the most popular person on Merseyside at present, after the Liverpool attacker revealed he had turned down a £100,000-a-week contract offer, but where will the 20-year-old be playing next season?

Though the England international was keen to stress he was not a “money-grabbing” player during an exclusive interview with BBC Sport, these latest revelations have done little to enhance his reputation at Anfield.

With that in mind, Ladbrokes News is today asking you, the readers, what the future may hold for the Reds youngster.

Manchester City are the current bookies favourites to land Sterling at 3/1 but with a whole host of Premier League outfits likely to be gunning for his signature, the Sky Blues could face competition from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

And that’s before we even get to the options available on the continent with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all priced up as possible destinations for the Liverpool attacker.

Then again, his decision to opt against signing any new deal until the end of the season could yet have a happy ending for Liverpool.
