Price Boosts galore as the Europa League is whittled down to four

Published:

After the Champions League whittled down their final four on Wednesday, it’s now up to it’s sister competition to decide it’s semi-finalists.

The second-legs of the Europa League quarter-finals see all eight sides come into the tie with a reasonable chance to make it through.

Splitting the teams may be tough, but one thing we are sure of is that there’s room for a couple of awesome price boosts, including each of the quartet of fixtures.

Gonzalo Higuain to score first was 4/1 NOW 5/1

The Argentine got Napoli off the mark in their 4-1 demolition of Wolfsburg in the first leg, and with the Wolves sure to be pressing for the required three goals, expect counter attack opportunities aplenty.

Higuain’s strike in the reverse fixture was his fifth goal in five Europa League ties, and with seven of his 24 strikes in all competitions this season breaking the deadlock, he was the obvious man to boost today.

Sevilla, Fiorentina and Dnipro all to qualify was 5/1 NOW 3/1

Having beaten Zenit St Petersburg in the first leg Sevilla don’t need to win to progress, but having won their last six Europa League matches, there’s reason to believe they can go through comfortably.

Their Russian opponents have gone into the second leg of European knock-out competitions behind on 12 times occasions 2002, and only reversed that deficit four times.

Club Brugge were unable to bag a goal at home against Dnipro and that could prove fatal to their Europa League ambitions.

The Ukrainians haven’t conceded a goal in Kiev since January 29th, and will have been happy enough with their goalless draw in the first leg.  And having warmed up with a 5-0 league win at the weekend, are fancied to progress.

And finally, while Fiorentina’s Serie A form hasn’t been that inspiring, their performances in Europe should be enough to see them through to the semis.

They’ve only lost one of their last 12 in continental competitions and secured that vital away goal in Ukraine and should have enough to see off a Dynamo side that aren’t strong on the road.
