Church backed to deliver Hopkins bashing in boxing ring

| 11.05.2015

Charlotte Church would be the overwhelming favourite to win any boxing match between herself and outspoken “television personality” Katie Hopkins.

That is according to the latest Ladbrokes odds, which have the singer at 1/5 to win the proposed bout, with the Welsh vocalist also a tempting 4/5 to claim a victory by knockout.

These prices come after Church became embroiled in a Twitter spat with the Celebrity Big Brother runner-up that ended with the 29-year-old suggesting they settle their differences in the ring.

Hopkins may stand taller than her Welsh adversary and with a greater reach, but she remains the rank outsider to win at 4/1.

A KO triumph looks even more unlikely at 10/1, while the draw is 16/1 with the bookmaker.

Ladbrokes appear confident that the bout will go ahead though, with all proceedings from the event going to charity as per the wishes of Church.

Punters can get a price of 2/1 on the fight occurring in 2015, though at the present prices there appears to be only one winner.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Katie Hopkins may be famous for her acid tongue, but punters are backing Charlotte Church to show that the former Apprentice candidate’s bark is far worse than her bite.”

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
