Price Boost: Ladbrokes offering huge odds on Barcelona to beat Juve

| 04.06.2015

With Barcelona and Juventus both aiming to wrap up an historic treble this Saturday the Champions League final needs little help in drumming up excitement.

That hasn’t deterred the traders at Ladbrokes though, with the bookmaker offering new customers a huge Price Boost on Barcelona to beat the Serie A and Coppa Italia champions inside 90 minutes.

At present the La Liga and Copa del Rey victors are priced at 8/13 to complete the job inside 90 minutes but those yet to have placed a bet with the country’s leading bookmaker can take advantage of a whopping 6/1*!

Juventus may have pulled off a shock in sending Real Madrid packing in the semi finals but there are few people who feel they can go all the way and halt Barca’s march to glory.

The Italians may have never lost to their Spanish rivals but the sides have met just twice before and not for 12 years.

Juve are undefeated in nine games but have not been at their convincing best of late, drawing three of those fixtures and winning by more than one goal just once in that run.

Barca, by way of contrast, have lost once in their last 22 games but have been in imperious form, racking up goal totals of three, four six and even eight in recent weeks.

Juve are expected to make a game of it and in Carlos Tevez, scorer of 29 goals this season, they possess a striker who can cause defenders trouble all night long.

However, the former Manchester United man’s stats simply do not stack up against those of his Argentina team-mate and Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.

The diminutive forward has smashed a mindboggling 58 goals in 59 games this season and if he can maintain that form in Berlin on Saturday there can be only one winner!
