Royal Ascot Lucky 15: Rare French raider an early possibility

The sun is beginning to set on Royal Ascot 2015, which will surely be renamed ‘Ryan’ Ascot in the fullness of time following Ballydoyle-retained rider Moore’s incredible showing.
We fancy him to triumph at least once more in our Saturday Lucky 15, but not before a few other winners have rung the bell:
14.30, Chesham Stakes – Suits You
Aidan O’Brien’s lazily-named favourite Ballydoyle can’t be steamed into with any confidence, after finishing fourth in an eight-runner race at odds-on last month in Ireland, and following Found and Ol’ Man River’s failures on Friday.
For an alternative, Eoghan O’Neill’s once-raced colt Suits You looks the part for a trainer who brings very few horses over from France.
The son of Youmzain sprung a shock when winning at a big price first-time-out at Maisons-Laffite in May, and there could be more in the tank to come.
15.05, Wolferton Handicap – Mahsoob
John Gosden has taken this Listed 1m2f event twice in the past four years, both times with William Buick on board, but the mount of Paul Hanagan could be even better than the Newmarket-based handler’s previous pair.
Mahsoob is unbeaten in three starts, winning at 3/1 or shorter on each occasion. He just about ranks as the final-day banker.
16.20, Diamond Jubilee Stakes – Lucky Kristale
Two horses have taken this race from the foot of the weights over the past seven runnings, and Lucky Kristale’s fillies’ allowance means she’ll carry a few pounds fewer than every other contender in this 6f affair.
Considering she ran credibly last time out at Windsor at the start of the month, coming a close second at 10/1 to Racing Post pick Tropics, jockey Tom Queally, who took this in 2009 with bottom-weight Art Connoisseur, will be quietly confident of pulling off a shock.
17.00, Wokingham Stakes – Tatlisu
At the time of writing, Moore has booted home nine winners at Royal Ascot, a new post-war record that could well be extended by this bottom-weight in the Wokingham.
Richard Fahey’s Tatlisu took a smart 21-runner handicap at Doncaster in March and has run creditably in two starts since, but this looks like the race the Yorkshire-based trainer has been targeting all term. Back him to land it.
