The two powerhouses in the Ladbrokes League 1 division moved into pole position following away wins, while Brechin finally got off the mark in style.

Finally, Albion Rovers picked up their maiden away win at Stranraer, as they continue their fine start to the season following their promotion last year.
This was an edgy and evenly contested encounter, with neither side looking like breaking the deadlock at Stair Park. With time running out it was the substitute Scott McBride who won the day, as the home side dropped into the bottom two.
