Euro 2016 accumulator: Dutch despair and Wales rout tipped

| 13.10.2015

Tomorrow marks the end of the qualifying process for Euro 2016 and while much has been decided there are still a few fates left in the balance.

Group A is finely balanced, with Turkey and Holland still vying for a play-off place and elsewhere battles to top the group mean Tuesday’s games will be full of intrigue.

It is also the last chance to place a competitive international accumulator for a while, so read on to see where the smart money is going ahead of these crunch clashes.

The following five-fold can be backed at a whopping 70/1 and remember – if just one side lets you down Ladbrokes will refund your stake up to £25*.

Turkey to beat Iceland @ 1/2

The task is a simple one to understand for Turkey – beat Iceland and a play-off spot will be theirs at the expense of Holland.

Iceland may have beaten the Turks 3-0 in the reverse fixture but with nothing to play for and a record of just three wins from 13 away games in European qualifying this one might be beyond them.

Turkey have lost just four of 23 home qualifiers and look poised to break Dutch hearts with a win.

Italy to beat Norway @ 4/5

Italy are already through, while Norway have to win to make sure of their place.

The motivation may be there for the Scandinavians, but with just three wins from their last six on the road it looks a tall task against an Azzurri side that has won 10 of their last 11 at home.

Norway have won just one of the last seven meetings between the two so the safe money is on a home win here.

Czech Republic to beat Holland @ 13/2

Holland need a win and results to go their way elsewhere to earn a play-off spot but it’s not as if the Dutch haven’t been trying to win all their games.

Their proud unbeaten run at home in European qualification came to an end against Iceland last time out and while the Czechs have qualified already the chance to take a big scalp to sign off with should be motivation enough for a side with just one defeat in 26 on the road in this competition.

Belgium to beat Israel @ 1/3

Israel need to win and hope Bosnia and Herzogovina drop points but the task is a lot harder than the maths. Belgium are unbeaten in eight at home, while the visitors have won just four of 11 on the road.

Belgium might already be through but with the expectation on a “golden generation” high the hosts will not want to sign off on a disappointing note.

Wales (-4) to beat Andorra @ 33/20

Chris Coleman’s side may have lost last time out but it will be party time in Cardiff after Wales reached the finals for the first time in their history.

Sorry Andorra, the winless whipping boys of Group B, will be subject to more embarrassment as Wales go about dishing out another rout.

The Andorrans have shipped four or more goals in four of their last five games and with Wales riding high on confidence another heavy defeat awaits.
