Hours before Tyson Fury shocked the boxing world in becoming the new heavyweight champion of the world, a Leicester City striker was completing his own version of a rags to riches story.

Jamie Vardy worked his way up from non league football to become the Premier League’s leading scorer with the Foxes, and broke the league’s consecutive scoring record when slotting past Manchester United to net in the 11th straight game.
