John Partridge Proves Himself A Value Pick For CBB Glory

Published:

Emma Willis (and bump) returned to our screens last night as she ushered the new celebrity housemates up the stairs and into their living quarters for the next five weeks, in what could be an explosive series.

At 5/2 Geordie Shore resident Scotty T stands out as the favourite for his cheeky-chappy demeanour and ‘Buck Squad’ status, and it looks like there may already be sparks flying between himself and former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis.

With a potential romance in the air, viewers will be desperate to keep these two locked in, and she’s 7/1 for the win.

Our attention though focused very much on John Partridge, and at 5/1 we’re sure he’s a strong contender for Big Brother glory. The ex-Eastenders man revealed that the reason for taking part in the show was to use the money to pay for his mum’s medical care, who suffers from Alzheimer’s.

As well as this, he was quick to let the housemates have access to the luxury food whilst he and Darren Day suffered with the basics in the box room, where they were unknowingly cast in last night’s opener.

Christopher Maloney garnered a frosty reception from the Borehamwood crowd to which he put down as “all panto”, but he could face further problems in the house with his ex-pal Danniella Westbrook claiming he was partly to blame for her famous breakdown.

The actress is 14/1 for the crown, whilst the X-Factor reject sits a firm outsider at 33/1.

David Gest could provide some much-needed entertainment in the house, and after becoming a household name in Britain for his I’m A Celeb appearance, he could also be good value at 5/1.

Looking to cause a stir in the house will be former boxer and UKIP spokesman Winston Mckenzie, who already furrowed brows with his homophobic comments during his VT. Unsurprisingly he is priced up at 80/1 for the win.

Alongside him looking to drum up some drama will be US reality TV star Tiffany Pollard, best known for her stint in Flavor of Love where she earned the nickname ‘New York’.

No doubt this celebrity clan will provide just as many feuds, fiery outbursts and fun as previous series’ contenders.
