January is up and running and that means the transfer window is too, and while that brings about a whole host of questions, we’re asking just one; who needs to do the most business?
Arsenal currently sit top of the pile but have a host of injuries, while Manchester City lurk ominously four points behind having appeared to shake off their away day troubles with victory at Watford.
Meanwhile down at the bottom, Sunderland’s win over Aston Villa at the weekend gave the Black Cats real hope of survival while seemingly almost consigning Villa to relegation.
But it’s not over until the fat lady sings, and with the increase in Premier League TV revenue kicking-in next season, some clubs may feel spending now could be justified should they survive this campaign. Villa boss Remi Garde has stated his side need new players in their relegation battle.
And what of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool? Each of these Premier League giants are enduring pretty difficult times this term as they seek a return to the top.
