Salford possess the talent to hurt unbeaten Warrington

Rejuvenated Salford Red Devils could well push Warrington Wolves all the way in their Super League clash this evening.
Despite the Wolves flying high in the table with three wins from three, this clash has promise to be a tough encounter for Tony Smith’s side as they face a Red Devils team who have shown in recent weeks they can cut it with the big boys.
Following a stunning 44-10 win over St Helens and a hard-fought victory over Widnes, Salford came so close to pulling off another surprise last week against Wigan. The Red Devils had fought back from 16-2 down to level up at 16-16, only to fall to a late try which came off the back of a contentious knock-on by Wigan that was missed by the officials.
Warrington have shown in the early rounds that this could finally be their year, represented by the fact they are now second favourites at 3/1 to win the Grand Final – having previously been as big as 6/1.
Their 100% record has featured wins over champions Leeds, Hull KR and most recently a 34-16 home win over Wakefield, a run of results which has seen them take up second spot in the table.
They have proven finishers out wide in Tom Lineham and Kevin Penny, who can be backed 3/1 (was 2/1) to both score anytime in our Enhanced Anytime Tryscorer Double.
Salford’s last win over Warrington came back in 2012, and they have failed to record a draw or a win in any of the ensuing seven meetings between the teams.
They have proved their mettle against two of the biggest sides in the league in St Helens and Wigan though, and are priced at 15/8 to break their hoodoo against the Wolves or can be backed at evens to win with a +6 handicap.
