Corbyn and Cameron 10/1 to share the stage on Brexit

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is a 10/1 shot to end up on the same stage as Prime Minister David Cameron as the UK heads towards June’s EU Referendum.
After months of remaining relatively tight-lipped on the issue – leaning towards leaving if anything – Corbyn is now beginning to lay out his campaign to remain in the European Union, forming an unlikely alliance with Cameron in the process.
The 10/1 odds suggest it’s somewhat unlikely the pair will take to the stage together, but according to Ladbrokes’ Brexit Barometer, Corbyn’s speech has nudged the dial two per cent towards a remain result from June’s referendum.
Remaining is the bookies favourite at 4/11, but it’s a leave decision at 2/1 which has been the scene of 60 per cent of bets placed to date on Britain’s big summer vote.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We’re prepared to offer long odds on Corbyn and Cameron putting their differences to one side momentarily in favour of Brussels. There’s a far higher chance of Brexit than them sharing a stage at any point in the campaign.”
The most likely outcome for a remain vote is 50-55 per cent, judged an 11/4 chance, while leave’s most likely percentage is 40-50 at 11/10.
With both party leaders now lobbying towards the same outcome however, all eyes will be peeled on how these odds change over the coming weeks and months.
