Prem Bound? Hungarian wing wizard who shone at Euro 2016

Hungary’s 3-3 draw with Portugal saw the best of Balazs Dzsudzsak, with the winger netting twice, thanks to a spectacular free-kick and another peach of a finish. And that quality is sure to have put managers across the Premier League on alert. Here are three Prem sides who should have the Magyars’ magician in their sights.

The 29-year-old was one of European football’s hottest properties when he burst onto the scene at PSV Eindhoven – netting double figures in three successive Eredivisie campaigns – and continued to impress after joining Dinamo Moscow back in 2012.

But having just come off the back of a difficult season in Turkey with Bursaspor, the Debrecen native could be keen for a move to relight his career. One club who could be interested are Liverpool, who bid for the player during his time in Moscow, but saw their advances turned down by Belo-golubye.

The Merseyside giants do already have the likes of Lazar Markovic on the right wing, but there’s no doubting that Dzsudzsak is a Klopp-style player: energetic, creative and daring. And with Transfermarkt.co.uk currently valuing him at just £3.61m, he could be an excellent cover option for the Reds next season.

However, he could be an even more useful buy for Leicester City. The Foxes’ squad performed tremendously last season, but there’s no getting away from the fact their squad is short on cover.

With Champions League football now added to their fixture schedule, they desperately need another right-winger – with Riyad Mahrez currently their only option on that flank. With plenty of European experience and eight goals to his name already in continental competitions, Dzsudzsak could be another savvy Foxes buy.

Finally, there’s talk that Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin is keen on the former Debrecen youngster, and it’s certainly an area where the South Wales outfit are lacking a player of Dzsudzsak’s skill and experience of winning major honours.

The Swans are currently 66/1 to finish in the top four of the Premier League next season, though those odds could well tumble if they can bring in players of Dzsudzsak’s calibre.

Swansea begin the season with a trip to Burnley, with Guidolin’s men 21/10 for victory. But will they be taking to the park with the Hungarian winger in their ranks?
