| 13.07.2016

Tomorrow sees the Open Championship get underway, where Royal Troon plays host for the ninth time. With so many plotlines to play out, and some treacherous weather conditions expected, we could be in for a rip-roaring and unpredictable affair, not that you’d know it from the players themselves.

With rain forecast for much of the weekend, a repeat of last year’s Monday finish at St Andrews can’t be ruled out just yet.

Meanwhile, the much-fancied Branden Grace has been learning ball skills of a different nature…

A couple of home heroes have been hanging out together…

The Irish challenge will be lead by Shane Lowry…

Two-time Open champion Padraig Harrington is ready to rumble at Troon…

And the ever-popular Sergio Garcia has been preparing somewhere which looks a bit warmer than Scotland…

American Tony Finau is gearing up for his first Open Championship…

And we’ll leave you with a wonderfully atmospheric and envy-inducing post from the guys at the PGA Tour…
