It’s the time of year every football fan in the country has been waiting for. That’s right – the Premier League is back!
And to get you in the mood, we’ve compiled a list of 10 things you can expect to see on the opening weekend. So will a team be dubbed the new Leicester? Will there be any manager/physio bust-ups? Find out below…
Martin Tyler to say “it’s normal service resumed for the Premier League Champions” if Leicester beat Hull.
This is one to look out for if you’re a fan of Soccer Saturday bingo.
Manchester United will have a player sent off and Jose Mourinho will receive his first warning of the season from the FA.
Let’s face it – it wouldn’t be the first time the Special One will have been at the centre of controversy with the FA. He may as well start as he means to go on this weekend away at Bournemouth.
David Moyes’ Sunderland team will be booed off at half-time at the Etihad.
Last season, Manchester City were 3-0 up at the interval in this fixture. A repeat of that and new Black Cats boss Moyes will certainly feel the wrath of the Sunderland fans.

If any Chelsea player puts a single foot wrong in their Monday night fixture at home to West Ham, they’ll know about it.
