Mighty Mo’s double-double is the nation’s favourite Olympic moment

Mo Farah’s second consecutive Olympic 5,000m and 10,000m double is Great Britain’s favourite moment from the summer’s Games in Brazil.
The bookies have already paid out on Farah being awarded a knighthood, following the completion of his double double.
Farah successfully defended both of his London titles, and must now stand as one of the greatest Olympians of all time.
With the tournament over for another four years, we asked our Twitter followers to cast their say on what was the favourite moment from a GB perspective.
It wasn’t an easy one either, with GB storming to second place in the medals table, claiming 27 golds, 23 silvers and 17 bronzes.
We pitched Farah’s two golds alongside Max Whitlock’s stunning two-gold haul, plus Laura Trott’s confirmation as Britain’s greatest female Olympian.
The achievements of all three must be held in equal regard, but it’s Farah who holds the public’s attention, claiming today’s vote with 50 per cent.
Second place went to Trott with 22 per cent, and third was Whitlock with 14.
We also asked you to pitch other suggestions, and some 14 per cent of you felt it someone else’s achievements which was the most memorable.
Plenty of comments bigged up the success of cyclist Jason Kenny, while the dramatic women’s hockey victory over the Netherlands also garnered plenty of support.
With Adam Peaty, Nicola Adams and Nick Skelton also applauded, it simply shows how spoiled GB fans were this summer in a thrilling Olympics.
