Could Susan Boyle be the next face (or voice) of James Bond?

Our latest #WhatAreTheOdds request only emphasises just how extravagant suggestions can be for our traders to price up. Further proof of this comes via one punter who fancies the chances of Britain’s Got Talent runner-up and Ladbrokes pal Susan Boyle to sing the next James Bond theme song at odds of 10/1.

Should SuBo be the voice of the next film, she’d be the first Scottish female artist since Sheena Easton back in 1981 to have the honour.

Coupled with that, she’d also be the first singer that we know of to collaborate with both the James Bond franchise and Peter Kay. Not bad going.

Though the next Bond is yet to be confirmed, Susan Boyle herself is considered to have an outside chance of playing the role of 007 with traders offering 14/1 for any female to get the part.

That being said, Donald Trump, Alan Curbishley and Ainsley Harriot also feature on the list of potential candidates, so SuBo faces some stiff competition.
