X Factor Update: Louis Tomlinson lookalike an early favourite for glory

Published:

The X Factor is back and in full swing and so far we’ve seen a whole host of wacky and wonderful contestants all battling it out to be the next big thing in the world of pop. But after just four episodes, who’s hot and who’s not according to our punters.

Favourite – Caitlyn Vanbeck @ 11/2

The 18-year-old from Scotland retains her spot as the market leader for the second week running after last weekend’s batch of auditions failed to impress punters too much.

Of the 27 acts that have so far made it through to bootcamp, a whopping 15.9 per cent of all outright stakes taken so far have been on the girl from Scotland.

Second-favourite – Matt Terry @ 8/1

Matt Terry only graced our screens late on Sunday evening, but several punters up and down the country think they’ve found this year’s winner, according to the betting.

His striking resemblance to Louis Tomlinson from One Direction means he’ll certainly have the backing of female voters, so expect his price to fall throughout the course of the week.

One to watch – Sada Vidoo @ 50/1

Could Sada Vidoo be the first living doll in history to win a reality TV show?

A handful of punters seem to think so, and her huge odds make her our biggest loser so far – with one punter even staking a whopping £200 on her to win, meaning we’d have to pay out a staggering £10k on one bet alone!

The numbers so far:

Most backed category – Girls (40 per cent of bets)

Least backed category – Groups (7 per cent of bets)

Most backed judge – Nicole Scherzinger – 2/1

Most backed contestant – Samantha Lavery (11 per cent of bets)

Least backed contestant – Irina Dedyuk (0.2 per cent of bets)
