ICYMI: Staggies strike late to deny Partick at Firhill

| 24.10.2016

Ross County left it late to rescue a point away at Partick Thistle with Chris Burke leaving it until the 95th minute to net the crucial equaliser on Saturday afternoon.

Thistle must’ve thought they had all three points in the bag having led from the 24th minute courtesy of a Sean Welsh penalty.

The same player threatened again later on but it was Burke who grabbed the headlines with his last-gasp effort also his first goal for County.

The result leaves Partick a point off bottom in the Ladbrokes Premiership while the Staggies moved up to seventh in the table.
