Liverpool versus Man United 7/4 to see a red card tonight

Published:

Tempers are set to boil over tonight between Liverpool and Manchester United.

The two rivals meet this evening, with Jurgen Klopp’s marauding reds hosting Jose Mourinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and co at the recently expanded Anfield.

And the bookies make it just 7/4 that referee Anthony Taylor is forced to dish out a red card in front of a packed stadium.

It’s 4/1 that any of Klopp’s men are dismissed, with 5s saying Jose Mourinho must deal with ten-men at some point during the game.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Few fixtures in football can boast the passion and atmosphere of Liverpool against Manchester United, and punters are banking on the red mist descending for at least one player tonight.”

The bookies go 40/1 Klopp is sent to the stands tonight, with the much shorter 25s saying Jose gets his marching orders for some touchline theatrics.

United have won each of their last two league visits to the red half of Merseyside, but they’re outsiders tonight at 5/2.

Liverpool are 6/5 favourites, with a draw available at 12/5.
