Not many people would have predicted Middlesbrough claiming a goal-scoring draw at Manchester City this weekend. But one Ladbrokes customer did and it helped them to a tasty £18,000!
Not bad for a £3 stake…
The savvy punter had City and Boro to enjoy a score draw, alongside a similar result between West Ham and Stoke.
Given the Hammers’ defensive woes this season, the 1-1 draw was perhaps less surprising than that at the Etihad.
Nevertheless, that was two results ticked off.
Completing the fantastic five-fold was a trio of victories with both teams to score in the Championship.
So it’s hats off to Derby for their 3-2 thriller over Wolves, plus Aston Villa’s 2-1 victory at home to Blackburn.
But it wasn’t just Middlesbrough’s late-late show that made this acca win feel so sweet.
A 90th-minute winner from Ronaldo Vieira handed Leeds a 3-2 win away at Norwich to complete an unlikely five-fold!
