The hors d’oeuvres have been lapped up and it’s time to go back in for what’s set to be a super Saturday at this year’s Breeders’ Cup.

California Chrome is Breeders’ Cup box office
Enjoy it while it lasts folks because the California Chrome show can’t go on forever.
The $6m Classic has a genuine star in its ranks with Chromies from across the globe set to watch and bet on their hero.
The 2014 Horse of the Year has gone from strength to strength as a five-year-old with wins in the Dubai World Cup and Awesome Again Stakes only furthering his appeal.
But for all the goodwill towards Art Sherman’s charge, could a proverbial villain emerge?
Bob Baffert’s Arrogate is the bright young thing threatening to spoil the party with his clock-busting victory in the Travers Stakes offering up genuine claims.
Whether the whippersnapper can follow-up is subject to debate but that performance has certainly opened up a contest that many were viewing as a mere procession.

Can Flintshire go one better in the Turf?
Since transferring to the States, Flintshire has done connections proud by landing two Grade 1 prizes and there’s plenty to like about the 2014 Turf runner-up’s chances.
However, as is the case with many of this year’s ultra-competitive races, he’s not the only star in the field.
Found took the Turf last year and she’s the one to beat again according to the bookies and by this column.
Trainer Aidan O’Brien considered a Classic tilt for his supremely talented filly but in the end the Master of Ballydoyle has set his sights on a double.
As the leading trainer in this race with five wins to his name we’re certainly not going to back against his judgement.

The Turf Sprint crown is staying in America and not going to Washington
While we’re on the subject of AOB’s runners, Washington DC is his big chance in the Turf Sprint.
The antepost jolly has been well-backed but this race is historically one for the home team and with that in mind we’re going for Pure Sensation.
Chasing a four-timer, the son of Zensational is in flying form and primed to build-upon last season’s eighth place finish in this contest.
Mongolian Saturday was the winner of last year’s renewal at Keeneland and he’s likely to go well again but it’s Christophe Clement’s charge who gets the nod from us.
