ICYMI: Rangers end week on a high following victory over Dons

Rangers reclaimed second spot in the Ladbrokes Premiership after seeing off Aberdeen in a feisty encounter on Saturday afternoon.

The Ibrox faithful were treated to three goals, two red cards but more importantly – all three points – as Mark Warburton’s side ended the week on a high.

Defeat to Hearts in midweek had heaped the pressure on the home team but they responded well with second-half goals from Kenny Miller and Lee Hodson giving them the upperhand against the Dons.

The visitors had their chances but couldn’t convert until Andrew Considine headed in a stoppage-time consolation.

Meanwhile, both Clint Hill and Ryan Jack were given their marching orders late on to ensure both sides finished a hard-fought encounter with 10 men.
