Kane 4/1 to spend career at Tottenham after latest comments

| 13.12.2016

Their side not be enjoying the best of times right now in the Premier League, but Tottenham Hotspur supporters could be set for an early Christmas present, as Harry Kane has hinted at spending his entire career with the north London outfit.

The 23-year-old recently penned a new deal at White Hart Lane earlier this month, tying him down for another six years.

Should he see that contract out, there’s every chance Spurs will offer him a year-on-year extension as he approaches the latter stages of his career.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Kane stated he was ‘very happy’ to be at the club, which is moving in a ‘great direction’.

When asked about whether he sees himself as a one-club man, like Premier League legends such as Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes at Manchester United, Kane said:

“As long as the club is moving in the right direction, and has a clear vision of where they want to go, then I don’t see why not.

“Everything is in place for this to be one of the top clubs in Europe. If that stays the case, then there’d be no reason to go.”

Our traders make it 4/1 for Kane to spend his entire career at Tottenham.

And while punters would have to wait a few years for that bet to come in – the striker’s latest comments suggest that may well be a real investment.

How do fans feel about the news that Kane could spend the rest of his playing days with Spurs? Are Spurs now under even more pressure to win a major trophy to stop him from leaving?
