Manchester City favourites to sign Tottenham’s Eric Dier

Eric Dier could be about to swap Tottenham for Manchester City, according to the latest odds.
Pep Guardiola’s Citizens top the betting at 3/1, amid reports his future at White Hart Lane could be coming to an end.
Dier has been a regular under Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane this season, but has been increasingly used in defence as opposed to midfield.
The 22-year-old was dropped last weekend, to make way for the returning Toby Alderweireld, and it has sparked reports that the England international may begin looking elsewhere.
City’s local rivals Manchester United are next in the betting at 4/1, alongside Spanish giants Barcelona.
Swapping north London white for red looks unlikely, with Arsenal 16/1 to sign the set-piece specialist.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “It’s not quite clicking for Dier and Pochettino at Tottenham this season, and it’s Manchester City who look best placed to take advantage.”
After suffering their second defeat of the season last time out, Spurs will be hoping to bounce back tonight when they host Hull.
The bookies make Spurs 2/9 favourites, but will Dier have a role to play?
