PSG and Real Madrid lead race to sign Tottenham ace

| 09.12.2016

Tottenham’s Premier League hopes could be dealt a serious blow by the potential exit of star striker Dele Alli, who is 2/1 to join Paris Saint-Germain and 4s to head to Real Madrid.

Back in January 2015, the midfield maestro was turning out for MK Dons against Crawley Town, but could well be playing alongside the likes of Edinson Cavani or Cristiano Ronaldo once January 2017 rolls around.

While his rise has been meteoric, there’s little surprise that Alli has caught the attention of some of world football’s biggest clubs, following a stellar 10 goals and nine assists as Tottenham challenged for the Premier League title last season.

However, despite Spurs’ ambition, a move to Champions League heavyweights could be tough to turn down for the 20-year-old.

Right now PSG are leading the race for his signature at 2/1, but they face stiff competition from Real Madrid and Barcelona (6/1).

While a move to the continent looks more likely than Spurs selling Alli to a domestic rival, there are a trio of English sides – Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool – all priced at 8/1 for his signature, while a controversial switch to Arsenal is available at 16s.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Alli is continuing to shine this season, and the bookies reckon his incredible journey could take him from stadium:mk to the Parc des Princes within two years.”
