Barcelona join Real Madrid in chase of Tottenham ace Alli

Dele Alli is currently in the best form of his life, and the Tottenham midfielder is now wanted by Barcelona, as well as Real Madrid.

And according to recent reports, PSG can be added to that list too.

The England international has hit 10 Premier League goals this season, including a stunning seven goals in his last four games.

And still only 20 years of age, it’s staggering to think what the former MK Dons man might go on to achieve.

PSG and Real have been linked with Alli for some time, but Barcelona are a new name in the frame.

The Daily Mirror claim Barca boss Luis Enrique is also keen on the England star, and it’s not difficult to envisage Alli settling in well to the tika-taka ethos at the Camp Nou.

But Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has already slapped a £50m price tag on his midfield ace, and Alli signed a contract extension last September.

That runs until 2022, meaning Alli is likely to cost any potential buyer at least £70m.

It wouldn’t be the first time Tottenham have lost one of their key men to European heavyweights, having sold Luka Modric and Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

So it remains to be seen if Daniel Levy is swayed by any big-money offers, as and when they arrive.

Alli will be hoping to continue his rich vein of form this afternoon, when Spurs host Aston Villa in the Emirates FA Cup.

And the bookies make the 20-year-old 4/1 to bag the first goal of the game at White Hart Lane.
