Daniel Craig is still 007 but who will be the next James Bond?

Idris Elba - Next James Bond odds

Daniel Craig may now be the second-longest serving James Bond but our odds-compilers still aren’t sure which actor will replace him in the iconic role.

After a run comprising four films, 4,147 days and 11-and-a-half years and counting, Craig remains the world’s most famous secret agent.

However, with the 48-year-old famously distancing himself from any future involvement in the franchise it remains to be seen who’ll take on the Bond mantle.

Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy currently share favouritism at 5/2 apiece with the former of the trio once considered a shoo-in for the role.

The Luther actor also recently teased fans by dropping a supposed hint in a comedy dating video.

But with nothing concrete to go on the betting remains wide open.

Poldark hunk Aidan Turner is next best at 4/1 alongside James Norton while The Night Manager star Tom Hiddleston is an 8/1 shot.

‘Any female’ at 16s is another interesting option as the race to become the Next James Bond continues.
