Manchester City and Chelsea to target Bayern Munich wing wizard

He’s one of Europe’s biggest attacking talents, and if the latest reports are to be believed, Juventus ace Kingsley Coman is Premier League-bound this summer.

The 20-year-old is nearing the end of his two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich, but injuries have hampered his second stint in Germany.

And even when he has been fit, the winger hasn’t been at the forefront of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans at the Allianz Arena.

Valued at £17m by transfermarkt.co.uk and with a contract which runs out in 2019, it’s been reported by German publication Bild that Chelsea and Manchester City are keen to see if a deal if possible.

Blessed with astonishing pace and power, Coman really came to prominence last season when he netted six goals and 12 assists from 37 appearances.

And the Frenchman saved his best performances for the Champions League, where he netted two of his own and supplied his team-mates six times in just eight games.

His current situation at Bayern makes it unlikely that the Bundesliga giants will offer a permanent deal this summer, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for Coman in Turin.

Both Chelsea and Man City are looking to make a major step up this summer, as respective bosses Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola look to put their stamp on things.

The west London outfit will be looking for European success next term, while the Citizens need major reinforcements if they’re to make a Premier League tilt in the years to come.

And if either side are to successfully complete those aims, then signing a player of Coman’s ability is a must.
