Traders price up Real Madrid’s De Gea and Courtois odds

| 26.03.2017

It’s no secret that Real Madrid are looking to sign a new goalkeeper this summer. Continued reports link Thibaut Courtois and David de Gea as potential targets for the Bernabeu outfit, but who is more likely to make the move?

Well our traders reckon it’s Chelsea’s Courtois who is most likely to sign for Zinedine Zidane’s side, at 8/11.

But if you think Manchester United are finally set to lose De Gea this summer, then he’s an Even-money shot.

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to the Spanish capital for several seasons, and would have already joined the club had it not been for some late paperwork in 2015.

Keylor Navas is the main man between the sticks at the Bernabeu right now, but the Costa Rican international has never been widely as a top-line stopper.

Both De Gea and Courtois are valued at £34m by transfermarkt.co.uk, and both players have contracts with their current clubs until 2019.

But though our odds make Belgium international Courtois the favourite to move to Spain, the lure of Madrid-born De Gea to return home must appeal.
