Liverpool Evens to snap up Bilbao prodigy this summer; Chelsea 4/1

| 19.04.2017

Liverpool may be the Premier League’s highest scorers this season, but it seems Jurgen Klopp isn’t done yet with building his frontline.

That’s according to the latest odds, with Athletic Bilbao winger Inaki Williams an even-money shot to join the club this summer.

The 22-year-old is one of European football’s hottest talents right now, netting seven times and chalking up eight assists for Los Leones this term, including a Copa Del Rey winner against Barcelona.

However, they could still face some stiff competition from their fellow Prem heavyweights.

It’s 4/1 for champions-elect Chelsea to secure the Spain international’s signature, while 6/1 says he joins former Bilbao clubmate Ander Herrera at Manchester United.

Meanwhile, United’s local rivals Manchester City and Arsenal are both 7s to snap up the talented youngster, with Tottenham (10/1), Barcelona (12/1) and Sevilla (16/1) rounding off the betting.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “One of Europe’s hottest prospects could soon be the new King of the Kop, with Liverpool set to pip their Prem rivals to his signature.”

Next up for Liverpool is the visit of Crystal Palace on Sunday.

It’s 10/21 for the Reds to enjoy victory at Anfield, while they’re just 1/8 to finish in the top four this season – a factor which could well swing Williams’ decision in their favour.
