Ross County v Celtic: Hoops stars to show no mercy in Dingwall

Relegation-threatened Ross County will have the benefit of knowing how their nearest rivals performed a day earlier but that won’t change the magnitude of the task ahead of them.

Ladbrokes Premiership champions Celtic head to Dingwall with their unbeaten record intact and ready to carry on in free-scoring fashion.

The Hoops are 4/11 to record a 30th league win this term with the Staggies 7/1 outsiders and the draw priced at 4/1.

Celtic ran out 4-0 winners courtesy of three goals in the closing stages when these sides last met at the Global Energy Stadium and 2-0 in December’s fixture at Parkhead.

It’s 13/2 for a repeat of the latter scoreline with just 1/2 available for over 2.5 goals to be scored.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been happy to rotate his side lately and any player given a chance this Sunday will want to impress ahead of next week’s cup game against Rangers.

With that in mind, the 4/5 about the returning Leigh Griffiths scoring at any time is a value option while Player of the Month Stuart Armstrong is another to seriously consider.

He’s netted in both of this season’s meetings and is 7/5 to get on the scoresheet and 11/2 to net the game’s opening goal.

County boss Jim McIntyre has seen his side collect four points from their last two games and with a bottom of the table scrap ensuing there’s plenty for the hosts to play for.

Liam Boyce will be crucial to the Highland outfit’s survival chances and the 15-goal man is 3/1 to find the net and 14/1 to score in what would be an incredible home win.
