Tottenham Hotspur star well priced to smash Arsenal man’s record

Harry Kane has been in insane form this season – it’s as simple as that. This supposed ‘one season wonder’ has now netted a staggering 75 Premier League goals in his last three seasons, making him by far the most prolific forward in the division.

After managing just the eight goals in the last week, he claimed his second Golden Boot award in as many seasons.

In doing so, Kane has joined the likes of Alan Shearer, Robin van Persie, Michael Owen, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Didier Drogba and Thierry Henry as the seventh player to win the trophy on multiple occasions.

The latter has a staggering four Golden Boots to his name. The question we’re asking is: can Kane top that?

At 11/10, our traders are by no means ruling it out.

And we reckon there could be some serious value in that price.

For starters, he’s 23-years-old. Need we say any more on that point?

Henry was 28 when he won his last personal award for Arsenal before leaving for Barcelona. But this leads us onto our next point…

We just can’t see Kane leaving Tottenham any time soon.

The England international looks to have bought into Mauricio Pochettino’s project at White Hart Lane, and the striker has certainly had opportunities to leave before now.

But why would he want to go anywhere else? He’s worshipped in North London, he’s playing for a side very much on the up, and he’ll likely end up captaining the side on a permanent basis over the next few years.

Even if he was to leave Spurs, there’s nothing that suggests to us a move abroad would interest the young forward.

And there’s nothing in this bet that says he has to break the record with his current club.

With that in mind, this has to be considered more than just a plucky punt.

If anyone is capable of surpassing Henry’s record, it’s Harry Kane.
