The odds on US President Donald Trump to be impeachment during his first term have not moved in the wake of his son’s revelations.

Donald Trump Jr revealed that he met with a Russian lawyer offering information on his father’s Presidential rival Hillary Clinton.

The news raised new speculation that Trump Senior could be subject to an impeachment in the Oval Office.

But according to the odds, it’s no more likely to happen.

Our traders are holding firm at 11/10 on the business mogul suffering a first term impeachment, which is slightly out from the shortest price we offered of 4/5 earlier this year.

Indeed Trump is still very much odds-on to serve his full term in its entirety at 8/11.

But odds of 2/7 suggest the New Yorker will not be seeking re-election in three years’ time.

It’s 5/1 Trump is replaced in the White House this year, with the same price available for him to be ousted in 2018.

A 2019 removal is 8/1, with 2020 rather unlikely at 16s.

The most likely outcome is Trump to be succeeded at the next election, meaning he will leave the Oval Office in 2021, which we’re offering at 11/8.
