La Liga fixtures: Barca and Real in end of season showdown

| 21.07.2017

La Liga authorities have published their initial fixture list for the 2017-18 season with one game in particular standing out a mile.

Real Madrid will travel to Camp Nou on the third-last weekend of the season to face their bitter rivals, Barcelona, in what could be a title decider on May 6.

The first Clasico of the season is due to take place at Santiago Bernabeu on December 20 – an early Christmas present for every football fan.

The two games may have to be moved, unfortunately, though.

With Real Madrid in Club World Cup action around the same time as the initial fixture, La Liga may choose to give Los Galaticos a little more time to recover.

Depending on Champions League action, the Camp Nou game may also have to be rearranged.

Atletico are at home first in the Madrid derby on the weekend of November 19 as they entertain the first game with their city rivals at their new Wanda Metropolitano stadium. Real host on April 8.

They play Barcelona at home on October 15 and head to Camp Nou on March 4.

Our traders make both Barca and Real 10/11 shots to win the title, with Atletico Madrid 25/1 and Sevilla absolutely massive outsiders at 150/1.
