Bournemouth v Man City: City should get back to winning ways

Bournemouth got their first win of the season in the Carabao Cup in midweek, but it’s hard to see them getting anything against Manchester City in Saturday’s early kick-off.

After drawing against Everton on Monday, City will be determined to get three points here. They are 3/10 favourites in the match betting, with the draw is at 17/4.

The Cherries have lost all four league games against Saturday’s opponents since reaching the top flight. During those games, they’ve conceded 15 goals and only scored one in reply.

Eddie Howe’s side haven’t scored in league action so far this term and we think they could fire another blank here. Man City To Win to Nil looks good at 13/10.

Pep Guardiola’s squad is packed with attacking talent and we think Sergio Aguero is one to keep an eye on. The striker has scored in his last seven away games and is 13/5 to be First Goalscorer here.

Bournemouth are 17/2 outsiders but Jermain Defoe could make a first league start following his return to the Vitality Stadium. The veteran doesn’t usually waste a sight of goal and he’s 3/1 to score Anytime.

City’s defence isn’t especially convincing and Defoe’s inclusion would cause them a few problems, but we still can’t see beyond an away win here.

Manchester City to win, Sergio Aguero to have 6+ shots and Fernandinho to win 4+ tackles looks tempting at 6/1.
