Mourinho confirms Zlatan talks – 1/3 says Ibrahimovic rejoins Man United

For a while it seemed Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be consigned to the role of one-season wonder at Manchester United.

But now the talismanic Swede could be making a speedy return to Old Trafford.

Red Devils’ boss Jose Mourinho confirmed that the Premier League giants are in talks to reunite with the striker.

Ibrahimovic signed for Man United last season on a one-year deal which included an option for a second term.

But after rupturing his cruciate ligament in late April, the club chose not to take up that option for a second campaign.

Zlatan’s recovery has gone well however, and now it appears he’s set for a comeback.

Our traders certainly think so, with 1/3 on offer now (from 4/6) on the 35-year-old having a second bite of the cherry in the North West.

The only other option for Ibrahimovic, according to the odds, is a move Stateside, with any MLS club 11/5 to sign him up.

A return to Juventus is 10/1, while 16/1 says he joins the Chinese Super League, and 25/1 to reunite with AC Milan.

Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals in 46 games for United last season, including strikes in the Community Shield and the EFL Cup Final.
