Football clubs around Europe are gearing up for a hectic couple of days as the summer transfer window edges closer to shutting until the New Year.

And they’re not the only ones. Our traders are busy keeping an eye on all the prospective moves with a number of big deals expected to happen over the next 24 hours.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is now odds-on at 1/2 to sign for Liverpool in a sensational twist to his transfer saga.

Chelsea now find themselves out to 5/1 in the betting to secure the Arsenal midfielder’s services, having been strongly linked since the window opened.

You can also get 6/4 the Ox stays put at the Emirates after what can only be described as a palaver of a summer for the England international.

A player Chelsea will be able to sign before the end of the summer transfer window looks set to be Fernando Llorente at 1/3. The Swansea hitman scored 15 goals last season and is now on the verge of a £15m move to Stamford Bridge.

It doesn’t look like Chelsea are finished there, either. Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater is chalked up at 1/5 to get his move to the champions from the East Midlands.

Philippe Coutinho has seen his odds backed in to 8/11 for a move to Barcelona, while Manchester City are now rated at even-money to sign Jonny Evans before midnight on Thursday evening.

There’s 9/2 on offer Pep Guardiola’s swoop for Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang comes off, too.

Elsewhere, Andros Townsend is fancied at 8/11 to remain a Crystal Palace player.
