They’ve already signed Neymar, but do PSG want Mbappe too?

Published:

Monaco kicked off the defence of their Ligue 1 title on Friday night – with Kylian Mbappe in the starting XI.

The fact he was included in the starting eleven for Monaco’s opener certainly hinted that they don’t want to sell their teenage hotshot anytime soon.

But Mbappe has spent all summer being linked with a move to any of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

And it’s the latter who are the source of today’s intrigue.

Despite spending a world-record £220m to sign Neymar from Barcelona, it’s been reported that the French side are still keen on Mbappe.

And their odds have shortened too, in from 20/1 to 6/1 across the weekend.

Signing both Neymar and Mbappe in one window would be an almighty statement of intent from the club.

Les Parisiens still have work to do however, with Real Madrid leading the betting at 4/5.

And Manchester City remain in the mix too, with 11/4 saying Mbappe teams up with Pep Guardiola in the Premier League.

Mbappe enjoyed a starring campaign last year for Monaco, scoring 26 times (including six in the Champions League) while supplying 14 assists as the Riviera outfit landed their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years.
