PSG Champions League odds cut – but Real still favourites

| 27.09.2017

Paris Saint-Germain are now just 9/2 to win their first ever Champions League.

The French giants have seen their odds chopped from 11/2 after cruising past Bayern Munich 3-0 last night.

Goals from Dani Alves, Edinson Cavani and Neymar left the 2013 champions floundering at the Parc des Princes.

But despite their fine performance, PSG still trail Real Madrid in the betting.

Zinedine Zidane’s side – champions in 2014, 2016 and 2017 – saw off Borussia Dortmund 3-1 on Tuesday and remain favourites at 4/1.

Barcelona are 6/1 to go all the way, while Bayern’s credentials remain strong at 7/1 despite their defeat last night.

Manchester City are the shortest Premier League side, with 9/1 saying Pep Guardiola guides the Citizens to their first Champions League success.

They’re just ahead of local rivals Manchester United, who are 10/1 for a fourth European Cup victory.

Chelsea produced a fine performance to win away at Atletico Madrid last night, but the jury is still out on Antonio Conte’s charges at 12/1.

But they’re a far better shot than Tottenham Hotspur (20/1) and Liverpool (28/1).
