After a three week absence due to the international break, the Champions League is back with a bang on Tuesday night.

Matchday five’s first batch of games will see Tottenham Hotspur visit Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City host Feyenoord and Liverpool travel to face Sevilla.

Here, we look at the best bets for British sides on a night where the Premier League trio could all confirm their place atop their respective groups…

Sevilla v Liverpool

Liverpool will fancy their chances against Sevilla. The Reds are on a four-game winning streak and have scored 13 goals in the process.

In Mohamed Salah, they also boast the Premier League’s top goalscorer. The Egyptian bagged twice at the weekend and is a healthy 5/1 to open the scoring in this one.

It’s also worth noting that seven of Liverpool’s 10 away games this season have seen both teams find the back of the net. You can back Both Teams to Score at 1/2.

However, it might be worth doubling up on that market and taking the 3/1 on offer for Liverpool to win and Both Teams to Score.

Manchester City v Feyenoord

Off the back of a four-game winless run, this is not the game that Feyenoord need right now.

Man City disposed of Leicester City 2-0 at the weekend to make it 15 wins in their last 16 games. They’ve scored 51 goals in that run, including putting four past the Dutch side back in September.

The Citizens are 6/5 to score Over 3.5 Goals in the contest and an equally enticing 27/10 on the -2 Handicap in the second half.

In terms of individuals, Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan offer the best value in the Anytime Goalscorer market at 6/4 and 7/4 respectively.

Borussia Dortmund v Tottenham Hotspur

A win for Tottenham away at Dortmund could seal their place at the top of Group H.

Despite an impressive 3-1 victory over Real Madrid in their last group game, Spurs are rated as 21/10 outsiders for this one.

What comes as no surprise is that Harry Kane remains the Lilywhites’ best chance of scoring. He’s a handy 7/2 to find the back of the net first in the contest.

Dortmund are no slouches in front of goal themselves, though. They’re the Bundesliga’s second-top scorers after Bayern Munich.

With more goals likely at Westfalenstadion, you can get 17/5 on Tottenham to win and for there to be Over 2.5 Goals.

A repeat of the 3-1 scoreline Spurs enjoyed over Dortmund at Wembley is 22/1.
