Tottenham v Real Madrid: Wembley clash could decide Group H winner

Tottenham Hotspur odds

Following last weekend’s loss to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur have another huge game against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Surprisingly, it will be the European champions’ first-ever appearance at Wembley. And the winner will take pole position in Group H.

Madrid are 6/5 favourites, but they’ve not been at their best recently. Tottenham will fancy their chances of getting a sensational win at 2/1. The draw is 13/5.

The La Liga giants lost to newly-promoted Girona at the weekend and are already eight points off top spot in the league.

Zinedine Zidane will be without Raphael Varane, Dani Carvajal and Keylor Navas for this one. Gareth Bale is also unavailable against his former club.

Madrid still have incredible quality but with so many key players out, backing Tottenham at 8/13 in the Double Chance market could be a smart call.

Spurs’ own injury problems are now easing. Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele are fit for selection again. But most importantly, Harry Kane is back in training after missing the United game.

Kane had a great chance to score in the last meeting between these two. He’s unlikely to let Madrid off again.

The England ace is 21/20 to score Anytime and 7/2 to open the scoring.

As ever, Cristiano Ronaldo is Madrid’s biggest goal threat. The recently-crowned Best FIFA Men’s Player is 14/5 as First Goalscorer.

Both sides have an identical record in the Champions League so far. Chances were at a premium in the 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu.

This one should be very tight too. Under 2.5 Goals looks good value at 29/20.
