Liverpool second-favs for Wilshere; Coutinho & Can odds-on to exit Anfield

The latest odds suggest Jack Wilshere could be on course to reunite with former Arsenal teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Liverpool.
The Reds are now joint-second favourites to sign the midfielder, at odds of 3/1.
Newcastle United remain 7/4 favourites for the 25-year-old’s signature, while Crystal Palace (3/1) and West Ham United (10/3) are also firmly in the running.
The England international has just six months left on this contract, and has made just two Premier League starts this term. So he seems all-but-certain to be waving goodbye to the Emirates Stadium.
However, while Wilshere could be heading to Anfield, manager Jurgen Klopp looks set to lose two of his top talents.
Philippe Coutinho is continuing to be courted by Barcelona, and it seems the Reds will struggle to fend off the attentions of the Catalan giants. It’s 4/6 he leaves Anfield before the end of the summer 2018 transfer window.
Liverpool also look likely to lose the services of Emre Can. The German is in the final six months of his contract, and has been linked with homeland clubs Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
He’s 3/4 to have left Merseyside by the end of summer 2018.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Plenty of clubs have been linked with Wilshere over the last few transfer windows but Liverpool have made a shock appearance in the market. Assuming Can and Coutinho move on, there’s every chance the Arsenal ace could team up with The Ox again at Anfield.”
