Luckiest bet ever? Punter lands stunning £31k 12-fold acca

| 01.12.2017

A stunning set of results secured an incredible win on last night’s football for one of our customers. The Devon-based punter placed £2 on a 12-fold accumulator, raking in £31k as it succeeded…in the most dramatic way possible.

Raheem Sterling’s winning goal with the final kick of Manchester City’s game against Southampton eventually secured glory for our customer.

But more remarkable was the inclusion of 11/1 and 20/1 shots from the Copa Del Rey – both of which came good.

The former were Lleida Esportiu, who faced a daunting trip to Real Sociedad. The third-tier visitors were 2-0 down at half-time against the La Liga side, and odds of an away victory drifted out to 150/1.

However, a spectacular comeback saw the minnows grab victory on the night. Lleida youngster Bojan Radulovic grabbed the winner with his first ever senior goal in the 89th minute.

But 20/1 shots Formentera left it even later. The Segunda B side knocked out Athletic Bilbao thanks to a 96th minute winner from substitute Alvaro Muniz.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s always great to see a huge outsider win in the cup – this punter backed two. It’s always great when your bet is completed by a last minute winner – this punter relied on three. The customer in question has shown us all how it’s done, and we’re taking our hats off to him today.”
