Man City 2/1 favourites to sign Seri, Liverpool at 9/4

Nice star Jean Michael Seri could be on his way to England soon with Liverpool and Manchester City both linked with the midfielder.
The 26-year-old was denied a big money move to Barcelona in the summer. Nice refused to budge on letting him leave despite being offered £35m.
Both Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are said to be monitoring the situation, with Barcelona also likely to go back in, too.
Manchester City are 2/1 to sign Seri, with Liverpool out at 5/2. Barca are second favourites at 9/4.
There could be midfield movement at both Liverpool and City in the next six months. Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho have long been linked with moves away from Anfield.
Jordan Henderson has looked a little lost in Klopp’s attacking front six and could also be allowed to leave.
At the Etihad, Yaya Toure’s time in Manchester will draw to a close at the end of the season.
There’s a good reason why Barcelona were so keen to sign up Seri over the summer. The Ivory Coast international is an all-action style midfielder.
Primarily a defensive pivot, Seri is a real throwback to the old box-to-box players who have the ability to do it all.
He scored seven goals and bagged nine assists in a cracking season for the Ligue 1 club last season.
Liverpool have already signed a similar player in Naby Keita. Seri arriving on Merseyside will probably be dependent on other player’s futures.
With Yaya Toure definitely leaving City for pastures new, a new, explosive midfielder will be high on Guardiola’s wish list.
Wherever Seri ends up, it’s most likely to be in the Premier League.
