Manchester United leading race to sign James Rodriguez

Manchester United are favourites to sign Bayern Munich’s on-loan midfielder James Rodriguez next summer.

Rodriguez is on a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid. The European champions could be tempted to sell permanently if a big offer comes in.

United are 6/4 to make Rodriguez the latest star addition at Old Trafford. Chelsea are also in contention at 5/2, while Paris Saint-Germain are 3/1.

There’s also a 5/1 chance the playmaker could make a big-money move to any Chinese club.

It’s 6/1 that AC Milan turn to him in their bid to return to their former glory.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “James has hardly touched down in Munich but it looks as though his time in the Bundesliga will soon be over with a whole host of European heavyweights thought to be eyeing up a move.”
