Premier League Super Sunday preview: Two away wins in store?

Published:
Manchester United odds

Manchester City may be well ahead of everyone else, but second-placed Manchester United won’t want to slip up and fall further behind.

They travel to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon. The Baggies are still searching for their first win under Alan Pardew.

After that, Bournemouth host Liverpool.

The Cherries are 14th, but they’re only two points above the drop zone after their loss to United in midweek. Liverpool are locked in a tight battle for a top-four spot.

Here’s our top tips for both games:

West Bromwich Albion v Manchester United

West Brom’s winless run goes all the way back to August. They’re only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

It’s no surprise that United are 6/10 favourites. West Brom are 5/1 underdogs and it’s 27/10 for the draw.

The home side haven’t scored in their three games under Pardew so far. Man Utd to Win to Nil is 7/5.

United might not be fully firing at the Hawthorns either. They’ll still be without Paul Pogba. The France midfielder makes a huge difference to their attacking play.

United to win and Under 2.5 Goals is 23/10.

Romelu Lukaku ended a four-game goal drought in the league against Bournemouth. He’s 10/3 to open the scoring.

Bournemouth v Liverpool

Bournemouth completed an incredible late comeback to beat Liverpool in this fixture last season.

They’re up against it at 5/1 to get the points this time. Liverpool are odds-on at 1/2, with the draw standing at 10/3.

There’s little value in backing an away win outright. As their defence is rarely convincing, there’s more value in Liverpool to Win and Both Teams to Score is 15/8.

Going forward, Mohamed Salah is in sensational form for the Reds. The Egyptian winger is 3/1 to score First.

Jermain Defoe could return to Bournemouth’s starting eleven after being rested in midweek. The veteran’s 13/5 to score Anytime.
