Odds cut on Arsenal signing PSG ace Moura; Tottenham still favs

| 27.01.2018

With just five Ligue 1 outings under his belt this term, Lucas Moura has become the forgotten man at Paris Saint-Germain.

But there’s no shortage of clubs looking to help the Brazilian revive his career. And a shift in the odds suggest Arsenal could be his next port of call, with odds of a January move to the Gunners slashed from 6/1 to 4/1.

Their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur remain favourites for the 25-year-old’s signature, at odds of 11/8. But they’ll have to fight hard to secure his signature.

Spanish side Real Betis (7/4) are also interested in the player.

Meanwhile, Napoli (8/1), Malaga (10/1) and Manchester United (12/1) are all dark-horses to snap up the highly-prized winger.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Mkhitaryan was the first blockbuster name to arrive at the Emirates this month, but the latest odds suggest there’s plenty Moura where that came from.”

Arsenal host Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, with 11/10 for the Gunners to progress to the final, after a first-leg draw.

Do that, and Moura’s mind could be swayed.
