The rumour reel is ramping up with news of another potential swap deal involving two of the world’s most high-profile forwards.

There’s also a new signing imminent at West Ham United, while Bristol City are fighting to hold onto one of their Carabao Cup heroes.

Here’s today’s rumour reel round-up…

Antoine Griezmann/Sergio Aguero

High-profile transfer swap-deals don’t come around very often.

But are we about to see two in one window?

After Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alexis Sanchez traded clubs last week, reports suggest Sergio Aguero and Antoine Griezmann could soon be about to do the same.

Aguero has scored 192 goals in 281 games for Manchester City but his future remains in doubt at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola hasn’t always been keen on the Argentine and could be tempted to tug on Atletico Madrid’s heartstrings as they bid to bring their former hero home.

Any deal would reportedly involve the 26-year-old Griezmann coming the other way to freshen up the Sky Blues attacking line-up. He’s 20/1 to make the switch before the end of the month.

Joao Mario

West Ham look set to make one of the signings of the window in Joao Mario.

The Inter Milan ace will join the East Londoners on loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Mario has featured 14 times in Serie A so far this season and also won Euro 2016 with Portugal.

He has failed to impress at the San Siro since a £35m switch from Sporting Lisbon two years ago and should add plenty of creativity to the rejuvenated Hammers.

Aden Flint

Bristol City defender Aden Flint is the subject of interest from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Robins have turned down a £6m bid from the Seagulls for the centre-back.

Birmingham City showed interest in the 28-year-old last summer but failed to meet Lee Johnson’s £10m valuation.

Flint has been a key member of City’s Carabao Cup run and could be tempted by a move to the Premier League.

However, it looks as though Chris Hughton and co will have to up their bid if the 6ft 5in ace is to swap Ashton Gate for the Amex Stadium.
