West Brom transfer odds

There’s just one full day of the January transfer window left, but the wheeling and dealing is far from done.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on the verge of completing his move to Arsenal, while current Gunners ace Olivier Giroud looks to be heading off to Chelsea.

But they’re far from the only big stories unfolding right now. Here are the latest odds on four more big moves which could be on the cards…

Andre Schurrle

A Premier League winner with Chelsea and World Cup winner with Germany, the winger also has 50 Bundesliga goals to his name. And the next side to benefit from his pedigree look to be West Bromwich Albion.

The 27-year-old has struggled for gametime at current club Borussia Dortmund, and the Baggies are 6/4 favourites to sign him before the window closes.

They’re firm favourites if he is to leave BVB, but Alan Pardew isn’t the only boss keen on Schurrle. David Moyes is also reportedly interested in the striker, with West Ham United 6/1 second-favs for the Ludwigshafen native.

Benik Afobe

The 24-year-old has struggled for goals at AFC Bournemouth this term. But he could well rediscover his form among familiar faces – with odds of 4/11 for the Congolese striker to rejoin former club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Afobe banged in 23 goals in 48 games for the Molineux club. And with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men top of the Championship, he’d likely get plenty of good service in the coming months.

With the Cherries boasting more in-form strikers like Callum Wilson, this likely move makes sense for everyone.

Vicente Guaita

It’s been no secret that Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has been on the lookout for a new goalkeeper in this window. And it seems the Eagles gaffer has found his man, with Getafe stopper Guaita 4/11 to join the club in the next 36 hours.

The 31-year-old has impressed for the La Liga outfit this term, and has plenty of experience – with 161 games under his belt in the Spanish top-flight.

With one of the league’s poorest defensive records, the reliable Spaniard could be a vital buy at a vital time for Palace.

Jake Livermore

The 28-year-old’s impressive 2017 was illustrated by the fact that six of his seven England caps came during the calendar year – including a start against Germany.

Livermore has continued to be a rock in midfield for West Bromwich Albion this season, and has unsurprisingly piqued the interest of Prem rivals.

If he does exit in this window, Crystal Palace are 4/1 frontrunners, with West Ham (8/1) and Wolves (10/1) both outsiders to secure the former Hull City man’s signature.
